Social media is now the new political lawn sign. Only the new lawn sign reaches tons more of the people in your community, more often and more clearly than just a name and a logo. Perhaps the decline in lawn signs is proof that the new way to message your fellow Americans both in your back yard and across the country is by the use of social media. Facebook knows that they have been co-opted by Americans with their own message. Sure, they can slow us down and diminish our reach but they can't stop all of us in number; they'd have no content for people to read. What could be more supportive of a candidate than your actual explanation of why you think this or that person or this or that ideal is most relevant to our current struggles and dreams. CONGRATS AMERICAN SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVISTS! The mere fact that you and your meme powers are not being recognized in this election screams of their actual power. THE FACT that we no longer need a main stream media scares the living crap out them all. The reality that we were more accurate than they were during this election damns them all into irrelevance. Just like our Founding Fathers we have taken the power back!! We now decide who and when, not them! Never forget! Never give up!!! Never stop!! We got this!!!
