WRONG WAY STREEP

Wrong Way Streep
So let me see if I got this right.  Meryl Streep cares about people; especially those with disabilities.  That's rich!  Not rich like her, but rich like ridiculous!   If you travel a couple miles from Ms. Streep's house you will find two very well know places called South Central and Watts.  These are places that Ms. Streep will never go because she believes that THEY are dangerous.   She hasn't done a damn thing for those people, her neighbors, that are right in her own back yard.  You see, she just likes to criticize others for not doing the things she would if she wasn't so important. Anyone notice that she didn't even mention the poor developmentally delayed boy in Chicago that was racially targeted, beaten and tortured for two days?  It's so hard in Hollyweird ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
She is apparently a really good actress because to most people she looks like she really means what she said at the "buy an award" Golden Globes. (Do a google search on "golden globe accused of")  Don't believe the lie that their choices are made by majority vote like Falon supposedly thinks.

Ms. Streep's suggestion that the reporter in question should be treated differently than everyone else because he has a disability suggests that she doesn't see him as being like everyone else.  He's not equal and can't stand up for himself so he needs her help!  People are either going to be treated like everyone else or they are not like everyone else.  You call people names, you get called names, you make fun of people, then you get made fun of too, period!  That's fair and equal!!  That or you're a little bully "B" hiding behind your disability.

Here is a little story for perspective.  I was once in a Nightclub in the Baltimore/DC area when a Cheerleader I know came up to me rubbing her leg.  She said that the guy in the wheel chair ran right into her shin and didn't even excuse himself. I looked down and saw a substantial red mark on her lower leg.  I then noticed the guy in the wheel chair pushing himself into others in order to get to the front of the club where the band was playing.  I saw him intentionally do it again then I went up and said; "Hey asshole!  Mind your manners!  Stop being a dick or I'll have you thrown out." (It was my friends club) He went on to remain in that spot for several hours without being ignorant to anyone else.  I even watched people with manners let him up closer so he could see.  He came past me sometime later and gestured me toward him.  (I don't treat people in a wheel chair any differently because I have had disabled friends who told me they hated that: they didn't need help, they can do things (including stand up for themselves) on their own. ) So, I made sure the "douche in the chair" (as my friend called him) wasn't going to punch me and I leaned down toward him to hear him, speak.  Guess what he said…………..????  He said "thanks man, all I ever want is for people to treat me like another dude, people put up with my shit all the time and it drives me nuts, they never would have done that before I was in this chair."  I said No problem dude, shook his hand and as he moved away I said; watching where you're going (I think he was DWI at that point) and he said funny, I always know where I'm going!!  I saw him several times after that and we became friends.  He liked me because I treated him like everyone else!

Ms. Streep might want to try that before she thinks that she needs to stand up for people with disabilities because they can't stand up for themselves.  what does she know about struggles? Like she's ever had a real struggle beyond the casting couch!

With all that in mind.  Here is proof that he was not mocking the disabled man but in fact he was using an expression he had used for most his life.
